Updated:
Lublin Old Town is one of the best-preserved old towns in Poland. Its heart is the Market Square with the Renaissance Crown Tribunal – all the city’s key monuments lie within 400 metres of it. This guide summarises what to see, how to get there and where to stay.
Main sights of Lublin Old Town

- Krakow Gate – a symbol of Lublin, home to the Museum of the History of the City of Lublin (about 150 m from the Market Square).
- Grodzka Gate (“Jewish Gate”) – the passage to the former Jewish quarter and home of the “Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre” Centre.

- Lublin Cathedral – with Baroque frescoes by Józef Meyer and the famous Acoustic Chapel (300 m).
